I became interested in homeopathy in 1985 after I gave my sick son a drop from a bottle of an across-the-counter homeopathic remedy called ABC (aconite, belladonna and chamomilla) for his high temperature and headache. Within 10 minutes his temperature returned to normal and he was at ease! I was incredibly impressed with how quickly the medicine worked! Six months earlier, he was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis. While in the children’s ward for two months supporting my son through his illness, I kept thinking to myself there has to be a better way of treating babies and children than this! It was a nightmare. This experience kindled my lifelong interest in, and love of homeopathy.
I began my Diploma of Homeopathy in 1988 – 1990 which trained me to successfully administer homeopathy for myself, my child, my friends and their children, and our animals, for all acute conditions up to 2015. I completed the chronic conditions and pathology years of my Diploma of Homeopathy in 2015 and 2016, and have been a part-time practitioner ever since. I am continually learning the art of homeopathy – there is so much to learn as new remedies are steadily brought to light, and new and successful ways of prescribing are being developed in all corners of the world.
